TRACING YOUR FAMILY HISTORY
COURSES

Are you new to Family History, and don't know where to start? Or perhaps a little more experienced, but need a helping hand?

For the first time, we are offering a course that will help you. Based at East Surrey College in Redhill, you will be led by an experienced, professional genealogist backwards through time on a journey to discover your family's rich history, and their stories.

Over five two-hour sessions, you learn how to navigate through the labyrinth of documents available, receive tips on how to avoid many of the common pitfalls, and get plenty of time to conduct your own online research, with a seasoned veteran there to help you every step of the way! Along the journey, topics will be illustrated by drawing on examples we have found in over 10 years of research, and we will address your own particular issues wherever possible. There will also be an optional additional outing to the National Archives at Kew at the end of the course.

There is even a FREE taster session, for you to see if this is the course for you!

STOP PRESS: We have now added a three-week course in Dorking, to be held on consecutive Thursday afternoons in March!
